Happy turkey day!  We were at Anna's mom's place for thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Chandler, her uncle Skip, her brother Jeremy and us of course.  Dinner was fantastic and dessert was even better.  We had seven desserts for seven people, including some chocolate fudge Grandma Chandler made for me.  After dinner Grandpa Chandler and I hung a new light for Sharon and then we all relaxed and had a visit from Anna's cousin Brian.  Anna and I took a walk later that night but I'm sure it didn't reverse the damage I'd done from all of the day's eating.  Oh well.  What's a few extra pounds?
As far as you know, this is NOT a picture of Jeremy going back into the fridge for I think a third helping of the delicious pumpkin cheesecake he brought over.  My favorite - next to the fudge of course - was the wine cake with a splash of freshly made whipped cream.  It tasted even better with a hunk of that fudge on top.

So you wonder what this is about eh?  This is my first baby shower ever.  Guys, these things are fun.  They're chock full of women and there's food and booze!!  Good odds if you ask me.  We stopped at Jennifer's shower after thanksgiving as we headed down to visit Anna's dad.  At the shower I FINALLY got to meet the infamous Bingham clan.  Ronnie, Janet and Jennifer.  Jay - somebody gave Jennifer a Gold-Bug book... I fought with Ronnie to see who could spot Gold-Bug first.  I usually won

Take it from a guy with five sisters....it's different if you're related to the Mom-to-Be. In that case, "the odds are good, but the goods are odd."
